Returns Policy

CJ Nelson Designs strives to provide the highest quality surfboards and customer satisfaction is our number one priority.  If you have any question regarding your purchase of one of our surfboards, please contact the dealer where you purchased the board or contact us at info@fronttrading.com as soon as possible. 

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

In case of shipping issues or damage from transit contact us immediately (but in any case not later dan five (5) days after delivery to the shipping address). Please make sure to take photo's of the outside of the box, total and close up of the damaged area and shipment (address) label.
Each situation will be evaluated individually and if CJ Nelson Designs determines that the return of the board is part of the solution to any issue, CJ Nelson Designs will provide a Return Authorization to you.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the location, shipping times may vary.

Warranty:

All CJ Nelson Designs surfboards are warranted against defect in materials and workmanship for a period of 120 days from the date of purchase. This means that CJ Nelson Designs surfboards will repair or replace, at our option, any CJ Nelson Designs surfboards that delaminates due to defects in materials or workmanship. This is the only condition covered by CJ Nelson Designs surfboards warranty. No other warranty is expressed or implied.

What this Warranty does not cover:

Damage or Breakage due to:

    • Wear or damage in normal use or as a result of an accident or impact.
    • Extended exposure to sun/heat/high temperatures when not in the water.
    • 
 Damage resulting from contact with chemicals that react with epoxy resins or EPS foam (NOTE: USE ONLY EPOXY RESINS TO REPAIR DINGS.  POLYESTER AND OTHER RESINS OR MATERIALS MAY REACT WITH MATERIALS IN EPOXY BOARDS SUCH AS CJ NELSON DESIGNS SURFBOARDS AND CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE).
    • 
Intentional breakage.
    • Normal Wear.
    • Any condition other than delamination due to defects in materials or workmanship.

How to activate your warranty:

Contact info@fronttrading.com and include a few pictures of the board, including the original product in full, detail of the product, deck and bottom and a brief description of the problem you are having with your surfboard. If the problem is deemed to be a defect in the surfboard due to a defect covered by our warranty, you will be issued an RA#. Ship the board back to Front Trading and include a copy of the sales receipt.
